Hi! I’m Daisy your current SpokesMutt*
*admittedly, a completely unearned honor based purely on nepotism since my mom runs the show and needed an initial guinea pig
Here’s My Story:
I’m originally from Twin Lakes (Bahastl'ah'), New Mexico on the Navajo Nation in the United States.
I was found at around 4-months old all alone in a ditch, emaciated, suffering from Parvo, covered in ticks and fleas, with a giant gash on the top of my head.
I was an adorable mess!
Luckily, a very kind person took me to the McKinley County Humane Society in Gallup, where I was saved and healed. Someone working there must have loved me very much because when I was transported up to Colorado by RezDawg Rescue with dozens of other animals, I was sent with a very special fancy collar and a Lambie toy in my crate to keep me calm.
My mom foster-failed me during Covid. It was her best failure ever.
Now I live in Colorado where I love to hike, run in the snow, chew sticks, play with my doggie friends, and coerce local businesses into giving me treats by manipulating them with my sweet, smokey eyes.
The gash on my head has grown in to a bit of a mohawk, and that makes me look like a bada$$.
I cannot walk by a culvert without exploring it. My human mom thinks I am looking for my lost dog mom and siblings, but really, I’m just adventurous and curious and like to sniff everything.
My nicknames are Dingo, Ding-Dong, and Bubba.
